Yet, in an article written by Ben Bernanke in the Washington Post this weekend writes:

The White House released a photo showing that, contrary to initial Secret Service reports, Michaele and Tareq Salahi did manage to get close to President Obama. In fact, they were able to shake hands and speak with him, as the picture clearly shows.
